Fact #6: We absorb 60% of the substances we place on our skin.

That's crazy to think about! That means harmful chemicals can make it into your bloodstream just by being on your skin, that doesn't sound too fun, stick to the natural stuff. 

Fact #7: Soap was originally used for curing animal hides.

Fact #8: In 1712 England imposed a tax on soap until 1835.

Oh, you know the old saying, something like, "2 things are certain, soap and taxes."

Fact #9: In 1865, William Sheppard patented the first liquid soap.

Fact #10: Soap operas were originally sponsored by soap companies.
